發行期刊，服務全球

彰化師大輔導與諮商學系在發行學術期刊上也對學術與實務界做出積極的貢獻，不但在民國67年(1978年)發行了全台灣第一份輔導領域的專業學報－「輔導學報」(現改名為輔導與諮商學報)，近年來又和台灣心理諮商資訊網合作發行以實務研究為導向的期刊－台灣心理諮商季刊，在本系於2016年成立全世界第一個「本土諮商心理學研究發展中心」之後，大力推動心理諮商本土化的研究，乃在2017年起將期刊走向國際化，與世界本土諮商心理學推動聯盟合作擴大發行，組成國際級規模的編輯委員會，並改名為「本土諮商心理學學刊」，2023年9月份起並轉型為最多人口可以閱讀的中文與英文雙語期刊(世界唯一)，彰化師大輔導與諮商學系積極推動學術研究，發行期刊服務全世界，積極扮演亞洲與全世界的輔導諮商與社會科學學術重鎮的角色，無論是大學部、碩士班或博士班都歡迎您選擇彰師大輔諮系，一起來參與學術研究。

Reason 16: Publishing Scholarly Journals, Devoting to the Global
In terms of academic journals publication, GC, NCUE, has dedicated very much in both academic and practice fields. The first professional journal in the Guidance field is The Archive of Guidance (now renamed The Archive of Guidance and Counseling), which was published in 1978 in GC, NCUE (in that time was GU, NCUE). In recent years, GC, NCUE collaborated with Taiwan Counseling Net and published another kind of journals making point of research and practice, Taiwan Counseling Psychology Quarterly. After we set up the world-first Center for Indigenous Counseling Psychology in 2016, we’ve made  great efforts on the localization of psychological consultation. Thanks to our efforts,  we were able to let our journals be international. We collaborated with World Indigenous Counseling Psychology Alliance (WICPA). An update and an expansion of the journal were operated this time. Also, we gathered a multinational editors team and renamed it into Journal of Indigenous Counseling Psychology(JICP). Starting from September 2023, JICP has transformed into a Chinese and English bilingual journal that can be read by the largest population (the only one in the world). We are doing hard to make research and publish journals, trying our best to make devotion to the Psychology world.
