彰師輔諮，輔導發源

彰化師大輔導與諮商學系成立於民國六十年(西元1971年)，為因應政府推動9年國民義務教育所需的輔導師資所設立，是台灣與華人地區最早成立與規模最大的輔導與諮商科系，早期只招生大學與專科畢業生，後來才參加大學聯招以招生高中畢業生，由於社會需要輔導與諮商專業人才，本系目前設有完整的大學部，碩士班，碩士在職專班與博士班等完整學制，領域也橫跨輔導，諮商，婚姻與家族治療，社會工作，與員工協助方案，畢業生更分布海內外，系上設有紀念台灣輔導與諮商之父的蔣建白博士紀念館，是台灣輔導與諮商專業的發源地。今年(西元2021年)正是本校與本系創立50周年，也是蔣建白先生逝世50周年，我們特舉行50周年系慶紀念活動​，一來慶祝台灣輔導與諮商教育的五十年發展，也要感謝蔣建白博士對台灣輔導與諮商專業以及本系的貢獻。

Reasons 11: The Birthplace of Guidance & Counseling
GC, NCUE was established in 1971, to fit in the rapidly-increasing needs of school guidance counselors, after the Nine-year Compulsory Education appeared.Thus, we became the first-established and largest-scale department of guidance & counseling. In the early days, we offered only postgraduate students and students graduating from Junior College( It is different from normal universities, but they get a formal diploma as well). After time passed, the Joint College Entrance Examination (JCEEY) made students graduating from senior high schools be able to join us. As the huge needs of people majoring in guidance & counseling, we set up a complete school system that includes multiple bachelor, master, in-service master, and doctor degrees. Also, we do not limit ourselves in guidance and counseling, but cultivate students in other fields, such as marriage and family therapy, social work and employee assistance professionals. In that case, you can easily find our alumni anywhere in the world. Besides, inside of our department building, we have Jiang Jian Bai Memorial Hall, which is in memory of the great man introducing guidance & counseling to Taiwan. The year, 2021,is exactly the 50th anniversary of the department establishment, which also sadly means that the great man has passed the world for 50 years. Therefore, in this important year, we hold a succession of commemorative activities in order to celebrate the 50th birthday of our department. The commemorative activities not only celebrate the long and hard development in the Guidance and Counseling field in Taiwan, but also show our gratitude toward sir Jiang Jian Bai’s devotion to GC, NCUE and the Guidance and Counseling field in Taiwan.The Birthplace of Guidance & Counseling, GC, NCUE, Your Best Choice.
